My name is Ronanne Haigh. I was raised in Wellesley, Massachusetts. I graduated from Norfolk County Agricultural School with a major in animal science. I enjoy many forms of outdoor recreation including hiking, ATVs, canoeing, hunting, and fishing. I love to garden, cook and teach the kids how to cook.
Outside of Ironwood I am a horse trainer / riding instructor. I have always focused on children and teens in my riding program. I find it very rewarding to watch young people find something they enjoy and can be good at. I love to teach and support kids in their interests. As their ability and understanding grows, so does their confidence. Ironwood provides a safe, healthy, supportive environment for our resident teens. As a Behavior Specialist I can help each resident realize the opportunity given to them by being at Ironwood. As our teens progress through the program and grow both emotionally and educationally, so does their confidence. They excel in school and find pride in themselves. They take from Ironwood knowledge most people take half a lifetime to learn. The ultimate reward is bringing families back together. My favorite quote is “Wisdom comes from experience, experience comes from making mistakes.” |
