Ironwood School Staff

Miles Noonan
Night Security
My name is Miles Noonan, I was born and raised in the central Maine area and have lived here all my life. I graduated from Lawrence High School in 2005 and immediately joined the Army Reserve as a Military Policeman. I saw overseas service in Panama, and I have had the pleasure of traveling all over the country on military assignments. I currently serve with the First Army Division as a Military Police instructor.

Aside from my work as night security staff at Ironwood, I have also worked as a police officer, corrections officer, and deputy sheriff, as well as hotel security. Working at Ironwood has been a very rewarding and fulfilling experience for me. I very much enjoy witnessing and being a part of the outstanding results this program offers, like seeing once troubled teens leave here as positive young adults, who serve as role models for their peers back home.

In my free time I frequent the gym, and I love running and mountain biking. Physical fitness is very important to me, as well as living an active, healthy lifestyle. I also love animals, I have a pet Chihuahua named Monster, and it is great being able to work at Ironwood surrounded by the animals that reside on campus. My favorite saying is,“There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.” –Colin Powell
