Hello, my name is Kimberley Heilig and I am very happy to be working here at Ironwood Residential Treatment Center. It is important to me to do work that I believe in, and working with our younger generation to help them become all they can be is significant to me. Before coming to Ironwood, I worked with troubled adolescents at the Columbia University School of Social Work in Manhattan for fifteen years. I hold bachelor and master’s degrees from Stony Brook University on Long Island. I’ve spent most of my life in the New York Metro area, yet I have also lived in Europe and Central America.
I moved to Maine last year, in part for its outdoor environment and stunning beauty. Witnessing and being part of the changes and growth in our residents at Ironwood, both emotionally and academically, have been exceptionally rewarding experiences. I am confident you will be overjoyed with the results. |
