My name is Bonnie Rector, and I was born in Massachusetts and grew up in New England. After many years of the very rewarding work of a stay-at-home mom, I decided to enter the work force when my child became older. I have been with Ironwood since its inception as the Night Staff Supervisor, which allows me to use my maternal and organizational skills, as well as my natural supervisory abilities. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my child and husband. I also love to cook and knit. Life to me means family, which now includes my “Ironwood Family”.

My favorite quote is, “Supposing you have tried and failed again and again, you may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call 'failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down.” I often use this when a resident is struggling to get back on track after having made a mistake.
