Ironwood, an approved non-traditional limited purpose private school, utilizes a fully-accredited distance learning curriculum which enables students to progress academically during their stay.

We provide a challenging, self-paced, flexible learning opportunity that can be customized to the individual student’s academic needs. At Ironwood, a living, learning laboratory is ever present within the 500 acre setting and through the multi-faceted experiential educational programs and core academic offerings. The curriculum is designed to effectively address a variety of learning styles, allowing students to successfully engage with their studies and relax into learning.

Ironwood offers a variety of enrichment programs designed to introduce the student to a new skill or spark a new interest or passion. Programs include horticulture and environmental science, culinary, equestrian, canine and art studies. Our goal is not simply to provide factual information, but to inspire young people to learn and thrive.
