Ironwood: Help Your Teen and Heal Your Family
Ironwood re-engages teens and reunites American families using a life-altering program designed to correct destructive behaviors, mood disorders, and difficulties with adjusting to the dynamics of family, social, and academic situations.

Morrill, ME - Founded by parents whose inspiring personal experience has led to the development of Ironwood's groundbreaking philosophy, Ironwood concentrates on clinical treatment and therapy by licensed professionals with integration of a state-approved educational component and adventure-based wilderness experiences.

Ironwood's co-educational residential treatment facility welcomes troubled teens ages 13-18 into a safe and therapeutic learning environment for a 6 to 9 month course correction program. Teens receive personalized attention around the clock as well as intensive therapeutic intervention sessions tailored to the specific needs of each individual and his/her family.

Ironwood respects each teen and family they service. To ensure that mutual respect and integrity is maintained, the facility has implemented the Youth's Bill of Rights. This bill grants rights such as safety, a healthy diet, entitlement to confidentiality, freedom from discrimination, and freedom to file complaints and grievances.

Ironwood encourages teens to live healthy and happy by taking them on a journey of self-exploration through counseling, self-reflection, simple living, discipline, and engaging work. Ironwood is also recognized as a state-approved private school, ensuring educational progress toward graduation while diverse special interest programs including equestrian, canine, art, culinary, horticulture, and nature therapy studies spark the teens' interest and strengthen the process of positive course correction.
